Joshua E. Stedman, 26, who is reportedly homeless and living in Elgin, Illinois, was charged with felony burglary. He is accused of breaking into a funeral home in downtown Elgin. Police said about 12:10 a.m. Friday, December 24th, 2010, Stedman entered Wait Ross Allanson Funeral and Cremation Service at 51 Center St. and rifled through personal effects of the deceased. The only thing he removed from the building was a laptop computer power cord, police said.
