5/17/11- Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew lost his battle with esophageal cancer at the age of 74. He was diagnosed with the disease six months prior. Known as "The Killer," Killebrew was an 11-time All-Star and helped take the Twins to the World Series for the first time in 1965.
